
4c. peeled and sliced potatoes
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. heavy cream
1 c. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
Layer the potatoes in a 9x13 baking dish. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the flour. Add milk, cream, & broth, whisking until smooth. Cook till thickened. Add salt & pepper. Pour over the potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake another 15 minutes.

ReplyDeleteI bet swiss and potatoes are a great combination! We don't use swiss cheese a lot, but I'm always looking for more ways to use it.
